Welcome to HGSRC
We are a friendly community club offering squash and racketball for all ages and abilities.
The club has three high quality courts and offers coaching for all standards including an extensive junior programme, starting with kids old enough to hold a racket. Read more...
We run squash and racketball club nights throughout the week, monthly internal squash leagues, a racketball ladder, club tournaments and social events. Club nights are open to non-members.
If you haven’t played for a while and don’t have an opponent then please contact our membership secretary – firstname.lastname@example.org who will offer you a complimentary game with members at one of our friendly club nights.
We have several teams that compete in the Bucks Adult and Junior leagues.
The club is managed by a welcoming and enthusiastic group of volunteers. The club forms part of the Holmer Green Sports Association (HGSA) which offers a variety of other sports, many social activities plus a well stocked bar.
The HGSRC was formed during the early days of the HGSA and started with 2 courts. During the seventies and eighties, the game grew enormously in popularity and the section flourished; a third court, with a glass front wall was added in the mid-eighties to meet the demand.
Today these 3 pleasant and well-maintained courts are readily available for hire by members at most times. Our court charges are the most competitive in South Bucks. The club is a registered member of the England Squash & Racketball (ESR).
Advanced players can enjoy playing in our Bucks League teams, and our first team won the Bucks County League for 2011/2012.
There are currently 3 adult teams and 2 junior teams, enthusiastic and able new players are always welcome!
Players of all levels can join of our ladder league where members can enjoy competitive games at their ability levels.
Competitions for members are organised throughout the year.
Many players choose to play “friendly” games with other club members or with guests who are always welcome.
The club is run by a team of volunteers and is under constant development and improvement. Our facilities currently include:
